Inspiration
Embracing the renowned Comedy@The Carlson venue, the event promised an evening of laughter and entertainment. Our concept for the occasion was inspired by the venue itself, and the remarkable milestone of BCCR’s 25 years of impact. We created a more casual tone compared to previous years. Infused with a relaxed and comedic atmosphere, the event included grazing stations, an open bar, and a stand-up comedian.
Getting The Word Out
To promote ACTober, we designed a printed invitation as well as an RSVP card, social media graphics and email graphics to advertise the event. Adopting a unique z-fold format, the invitation not only showcased essential event details but also featured a timeline highlighting the significant milestones achieved by BCCR over the years. We created a cohesive and impactful approach to spread awareness and encourage donations and participation for ACTober.
social Graphics
We carried out the theme in social graphics where we promoted the event, online auction, and encouraged guests to RSVP.
Video Assets
We created two videos for the event. The first was a sponsorship video for use on social and their website. The second video was displayed on all of the monitors at the venue during the event.
Process Work
We provided the client with two different concepts for the event’s campaign. We wanted to gently hint at humor (due to the comedy club venue) without going over the top, to be sensitive for the reason for the event.
Concept one
bold Impact
With a strong emphasis on action, this concept incorporates bold styling with the use of custom characters to capture people’s attention. We wanted a fun and casual vibe to match the event’s venue.
Concept TWo
Comic Book Action
We created expressive visuals such as speech bubbles and action lines reminiscent of comic books, and then provided two different visual options.
