Background
ACTober (previously called ARTrageous prior to 2021) is one of three major annual fundraising events for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester (BCCR). It kicked off October Breast Cancer Awareness month, but with an emphasis on action rather than passive awareness.

The Goal
Our objective was to promote the event and encourage people to act: register to attend event, participate in the online auction, and donate, donate, donate! The tactics we created for ACTober were also used to announce award winners, and help build support as well as positive brand association.
The Theme
Building on the past. Boldly challenging the future.
Vibrant, electrifying hues meld with striking, energetic typography. Classic ink drawings provide a counterpoint to this modern vibe. Collectively, they convey a feeling of unwavering hope and resilience.

We carried out the theme in social graphics where we promoted the event, online auction, and encouraged guests to RSVP.
