Website Launch

Background

Hudson Headwaters Health Network (HHHN) is a nonprofit organization comprising 23 community health centers dedicated to delivering primary care throughout New York’s Adirondack North Country and Glens Falls region. With over 20 service lines and a team of more than 220 healthcare providers, HHHN required a comprehensive website experience to effectively manage and present a vast array of information.

The Challenges

Our CX and UX/UI teams initiated the project by performing user research — they quickly identified that content management was a major challenge for HHHN’s internal team and that patients struggled to find specific information and complete certain tasks.

The Process

After the CX and UX/UI teams gathered all the site’s challenges, I collaborated directly with our Web Developer to start wire framing and brainstorming solutions. Our goal was to make it easier for users to find the information they needed and to simplify the backend for the client to update the site.

Wireframes

The pages of the site were divided into two groups structured and unstructured data. Structured pages included information and pages that had similar content like locations and providers. While unstructured pages had custom content blocks and components.
